Welcome to the official registration for the Wickedbeards Cosplay Showdown at ScareFest Weekend — a signature event celebrating the heart, creativity, and craftsmanship of our cosplay community.
The Wickedbeards Cosplay Showdown proudly carries forward the legacy of Jeff Cochran, aka Wickedbeard, whose incredible builds, infectious enthusiasm, and unwavering dedication to his “ScareFest Family” helped shape this competition for more than a decade. Jeff set the standard for what this event has always been about: creativity, craftsmanship, showmanship, and a genuine love for the cosplay community.
Returning for 2026, Jeff’s son Ryan and longtime friend and fellow cosplayer Michael will once again carry on that tradition, honoring Jeff in the best way possible — by celebrating the makers, builders, artists, and cosplayers who continue to bring his beloved Showdown to life.
Pre-Judging: Saturday, 2PM–4PM (online sign-up required)
You will select a judging block when registering.
Top 20 finalists will be selected to advance.
Finalist Round: Saturday, 6PM – Ballroom 2
Finalists will take the stage to compete LIVE for top honors.
Top 3 will receive prizes, and one will be crowned Best in Show. No categories, the best of the best. $500 prize for first place winner.
Contestants will select a group below, and arrive 15 minutes before the listed time to line up. If you miss your group we will do our best to get you added on at the end of the following group.
This event is open to all cosplay styles and experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or stepping on stage for the first time, we invite you to be part of something truly special.
