Welcome to ScareFest Ink 2025: Artist Application
We are excited to invite talented tattoo artists to join us for ScareFest Ink 2025, taking place from October 17th to 19th at the Central Bank Center in Lexington, KY. This year, ScareFest Ink is expanding and moving into a dedicated new space, offering a more immersive and engaging experience for both artists and attendees. The new space will feature a dynamic layout with approximately 50% tattoo artists and 50% vendors, creating an exciting atmosphere for showcasing your work and connecting with attendees.
Set-Up & Inspection Details
Set-Up Hours: Set-up will be available on Thursday and Friday before the event. Specific set-up times will be provided closer to the show.
Health Department Inspection: Mandatory inspection by the health department is typically scheduled for Friday around noon. All artists must pass inspection before tattooing can begin.
Pre-Registration with the Health Department: Pre-registration is required and mandatory for all tattoo artists. Details and deadlines for registration will be shared as the event approaches.
New Extended Hours
ScareFest Ink 2025 will have extended operating hours beyond the traditional convention times, encouraging attendees to explore and spend more time in the new space. This provides increased visibility and booking opportunities for participating artists.
Booth Sizing, Workstations & Artist Application Requirements
Definition of a Workstation: A workstation is defined as a dedicated area within the booth where tattooing is performed. Each workstation must comply with all Kentucky health and safety regulations, including maintaining a sanitary environment and ensuring the proper disposal of waste. Booth Sizes and Workstations:
All booths come with one workstation and are priced for one artist.
You may add an additional artist to share a workstation for $100.
Maximum of 2 artists rotating per workstation. (no simultaneous tattooing)
Booth Sizing: 10x10 accommodates one workstation (up to 2 rotating artists). 10x15 accommodates two workstations (up to 4 rotating artists)
Pricing: Pricing options will be sent if your application is accepted.
Application Requirement:
All artists working in the booth must have submitted an application and been approved before the event. Every artist is required to be registered with the health department.
